Early career teacher entitlement (ECTE) is a 2-year programme that supports early career teachers (ECTs) when they start their teaching career. It’s designed to:
- develop their professional skills
- provide them with the knowledge and skills to meet the teachers’ standards

Schools have two options for implementing the ECTE training programme:
- use an approved training provider (provider-led)
- develop and deliver your own programme (school-led)
TSH Berkshire has partnered with UCL Institute of Education, one of the national ECF providers, to deliver the provider-led programme.
