TSH Berkshire is the operating name of the DfE designated Teaching School Hub for the ‘SE10’ region, which comprises the six local authority areas in Berkshire.

The full suite of NPQs that we offer in conjunction with our lead partner UCL (IoE) are listed below for your ease of reference.

Specialist NPQs can help you develop your classroom teaching or specialism.

Leadership NPQs can help you develop your leadership skills or progress to a leadership role.

Specialist NPQs Leadership NPQs
Leading teacher development (NPQLTD) - help teachers in your school develop their skills. Senior leadership (NPQSL) - develop leadership expertise to improve outcomes for teachers and pupils.
Leading teaching (NPQLT) - lead the teaching and learning of a subject, year group or phase. Headship (NPQH) - become an expert school leader and outstanding headteacher.
Leading behaviour and culture (NPQLBC) - promote a culture of good behaviour and high expectations. Executive leadership (NPQEL) - develop the expertise to run a multi-school organisation and lead change and improvement.
Leading Literacy (NPQLL) - promote literacy across a whole school, year group, key stage or phase. Early years leadership (NPQEYL) - manage your staff and organisation to provide high-quality early years education and care.
Leading primary mathematics (NPQLPM) - use mastery approaches to lead maths teaching in your school. Special educational needs co-ordinator (NPQSENCO) - perform a SENCO role effectively and set the strategic direction of special educational needs policy in a school. Courses will begin in autumn 2024.
